Six subjects, six hours… Digirundi is here again!
Digirundi is a photography contest organized by Oulun ylioppilaskamerat. Anyone can participate in the contest as an individual or as a team(Max. two(2) members). Having a team isn’t necessary, as in the past the competition has been won alone too! The start will take place at Mannenkatu 1, 12pm, when the first three photo subjects will be revealed. Halfway through the competition it’s time for a cup of hot coffee at the start area, when we’ll also give you the last three subjects. By 6pm the photographs must be returned to the finish area (Irjala, Hietasaari). Even though the competition is over, the day isn’t! Right after 6pm we’re going to have an after-photo party! We provide you with great company (our part not guaranteed) and great music (guaranteed). The DJ of the night is Miami Jim, who will play nice and light lounge music for us to create a relaxing after-photo atmosphere.
Every photograph participating in the contest will be judged individually. The team or individual, who manages to gather most points, will be declared winner. The idea and interpretation of the given subjects will be the most important factors when judging the photos. You can participate using any digital camera (compacts, DSLRs..). The prizes will be handed to the most successful contestants in our next photo night. And how about these prizes! From our main sponsor, Digitarvike.fi, the winner will get Samyang 85mm f/1.4 lens with the desired mount (Pentax, Sony, Nikon, Canon), worth about 300€! Of course we won’t leave the other contestants without prizes either. Next positions will be awarded subscriptions of Kamera-magazine, publications by “Musta Taide” and vouchers for Studio Kuutio and Kärkkäinen.

HOW TO REGISTER:
Send us email to ”digirundi (ät) gmail.com” and give us the following information:
– The name/names of the participants
– The email addresses of the participants (+ optionally phone numbers)
– Are the participants students
– Preferred language (Finnish or English)
You can also register at the start area, if there’s room.
Naturally the participants who have registered and paid in advance, will be given priority.
PRICE: Students 6€/participant, others 10€/participant
2€ off the prices for the ones who have registered and paid in advance!
You will get the payment instructions as a reply to the registration email.
